After my first and beloved Razberry2 died by my own fault, I’ve decided to reorder my somewhat unordered grown Z-wave configuration. So I …
– got a new Rasberry 3 B+
– got a new Razberry2 (blue edition) (2.3.8)
– installed a fresh Rasbian Stretch
– Installed the Z-Way Software with all hints I’ve found so far:
– Bluetooth off
– Baudrate ttyAMA0 to 9600
– disable HCIUART
So far Z-Wave.me (port 8083) can be opened, but if I call the Expert-GUI i can see an error pop-up that quickly disappeared. More, unfortunately I can’t include any device.
The log file is full of cumbersome background-noise messages:
– (Get background noise level) dropped: too many resends
– (Get background noise level): fail
– (Get background noise level): No ACK received before timeout
Has anybody an idea?
That’s a problem of the installation script.
Please open your SSH tool and execute the following commands.
sudo nano /boot/cmdline.txt
If this file empty, copy following line in the file.
dwc_otg.lpm_enable=0 console=tty1 root=/dev/mmcblk0p2 rootfstype=ext4 elevator=deadline fsck.repair=yes rootwait
Safe the file with Ctrl + Z and reboot your system
Thank you for your help, which was unfortunately without success. My cmdline.txt had already the line
dwc_otg.lpm_enable=0 console=tty1 root=PARTUUID=c21cfc40-02 rootfstype=ext4 elevator=deadline fsck.repair=yes rootwait quiet splash plymouth.ignore-serial-consoles
I’ve changed this line by your’s and rebootet. No change in behavior.
Any more ideas?
I’m heavily frustrated and I’m going to ditch all my Z-WAVE equipment, get a bottle of vodka in order to get over it and forget that crap forever!
